Why these pants?
These pants are an experiment.
For this piece from our LAB collection, we wanted to explore the very latest technical textile technologies to create the most innovative and high-performance pants possible.
The result is a hybrid product: even more robust than workwear pants and even more comfortable than jogging pants.
Stronger than steel
The story of these pants begins with a visit to our friends at the IBQ company.
This fabric manufacturer in the suburbs of Barcelona specializes in high-end, ultra-technical materials for cutting-edge applications: firefighters, extreme conditions, special forces, etc.
The secret of our fabric? An external Dyneema grid.
Discover Dyneema®
Dyneema® is an ultra-strong polyethylene fiber produced using a patented gel spinning process. This remarkable fiber is up to 15 times stronger than steel by weight. It is also extremely resistant to abrasion, moisture, UV rays, and chemicals.
Dyneema is so strong that it is used to make bulletproof vests and in the panels of tanks to protect them against intense ballistic threats such as anti-tank projectiles.
We use the Martingale abrasion resistance test to determine how quickly fabrics degrade: a mechanical finger repeatedly rubs the fabric until the fibers break. The test can last up to 100,000 cycles—the equivalent of a lifetime of wear. A normal polyester fabric survives 25,000 cycles. These hybrid pants easily exceed 100,000 cycles.
Extreme comfort
To make these pants the ones you want to wear every day, this fabric is ultra-stretchy, giving you perfect freedom of movement.
You can take it anywhere and forget you have it on you.
Clean and dry for longer
We've applied a certified PFC-free C0 water-repellent treatment so it stains very little and you won't need to wash it as often as your other pants.
In addition, this ultra-light material dries very quickly.
A concentrate of innovation
The other secret of this exclusive fabric is its highly breathable inner side. The three-dimensional weave of fine, soft loops is made with CoolMax technical fiber: a polyester fiber technology with particularly breathable properties.

In fact, our fabric absorbs up to 13 times less moisture than cotton. This means moisture is quickly wicked away, keeping you cool and dry, even after exercise.

This is why we entrusted the making of these pants to our partner workshop in Tunis, a specialist in stretch fabrics.

The left back pocket also has a zip closure to hold a passport or coins.
