It all started when the cold was biting at our legs while wearing the Performance Chinos.
That's when the idea took shape: design a versatile technical pant for the cooler months.
And for Seagale, the obvious move was to line the chino with merino wool on the inside.
This weave was developed specifically by Seagale in partnership with IBQ, a Spanish specialist in innovative technical fabrics : you won't find it anywhere else.
It's a double-faced weave :
Exterior in Econyl (recycled Nylon) + Lycra twill weave,
Interior in 100% extra-fine merino wool.

Econyl is a nylon made from plastic waste and used textiles.
Its production helps reduce waste by recycling materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.
It helps cut greenhouse gas emissions while avoiding the consumption of new fossil resources.

We use 19-micron mulesing-free certified wool for this weave.
The stretch in this fabric isn't the standard stretch you'd find in any regular pant.
It's a bi-stretch, meaning it stretches both lengthwise AND widthwise.
This pant is incredibly comfortable, giving you a feeling of total freedom throughout the day.
Our fabric features a C0-class DWR finish, delivering effective water resistance without the use of harmful chemicals.
This technology makes water bead right off the surface of the pants, giving you light, lasting protection against rain while staying eco-friendly.
The merino wool inner face makes all the difference: it perfectly regulates your body temperature to keep you warm in winter without ever overheating.

"Très belle surprise avec ce pantalon. Le tissu est léger, respirant et très agréable à porter, tout en gardant une vraie tenue grâce au mélange Merino / Tissu technique. Le tombé reste propre au fil de la journée, sans effet froissé excessif ni déformation. J’apprécie particulièrement sa polyvalence : il conserve une allure élégante et sérieuse malgré son ADN très technique. Une pièce idéale pour le quotidien."
"Je l'ai pris avec la veste quand ils sont sortis et pas du tout déçu. Autant la veste est plutôt soir d'été ou mi-saison, le pantalon lui je le porte en toute circonstances, même l'été il est agréable à porter. Bien élastique, chaud ou frais au besoin."

"Porté lors d’un long week-end sur les marchés de Noël. Pantalon bien chaud, confortable à porter. Il s’ajuste à la perfection bien qu’il me semble que la tendance est à des pantalons légèrement plus longs en XL qu’auparavant. Ça va, mais il ne faut pas plus long (jamais retouché un pantalon Seagale en longueur et j’en ai quelques-uns). Le bleu chic tire un peu plus sur le gris mais ce n’est pas gênant. Beau pantalon d’hiver que j’espère porter longtemps."

Cependant, il est beaucoup plus classe qu'un pantalon de ski, il est élégant et habillé. Je partage cependant l'avis déjà émis concernant la couleur, ce n'est pas le ""bleu chic"" habituel de votre marque, il est trop clair, il serait bon d'harmoniser les couleurs ayant la même appellation au sein de votre marque. J'ai aussi remarqué que ce modèle à taille égale (XL) est plus long de plusieurs centimètres par rapport à d'autres pantalons de chez vous de taille identique (j'en ai plus de 15 pour comparer)."
"During winter now, these are perfect. If the temperature allows, I normally live in the Performance Chinos, but I was looking forward to a pair of Chinos, I could wear in winter. These are very warm with a soft inside. Plus the stretch makes them incredibly comfortable. Moreover, they dry very quickly and a small amount of rain will peel off. All in all, great to cycle with in winter here in the Netherlands.   My only criticism is that the chic blue version is not like the performance chinos. It is brighter than them with a hint of green, which makes them combine, sadly, badly with blue tops, even chic blue T-shirts from Seagale. If that could change in the future, that would be amazing."
