The revival of hemp
Hemp, an eco-friendly plant fiber with a long tradition, unfortunately remains underutilized despite its many benefits. Its rapid growth, with no need for irrigation, fertilizers, or pesticides, makes it a real asset for biodiversity.
Additionally, hemp is a clean fiber, absorbing four times more CO2 than its counterparts, making it the most environmentally friendly choice among natural materials.
Eco-friendly Tencel
Our Tencel comes from eucalyptus wood grown in unspoiled forests in South Africa, using only natural rainwater irrigation.
Eucalyptus plantations offer higher yields than cotton, thus minimizing land use.
Its closed-loop manufacturing process is environmentally friendly, with almost total recovery of the solvents used and reuse of water for subsequent cycles.
Tencel uses 95% less water than cotton and helps reduce our carbon footprint.
