For this shirt, we’ve carefully selected ultra-fine 17-micron merino wool for exceptional softness and unique natural performance.

Cordura is a high-performance technical polyamide known for its exceptional durability. It shields the fabric from wear, snags, and tears.
In this shirt, two types of Cordura work together:
- A staple fiber, blended with the wool
- A continuous filament, wrapped around it to reinforce the structure
It all starts with a tight twist between merino wool fibers and staple Cordura.
This blend forms a semi-finished yarn, strong and uniform, already far more durable than a 100% wool thread: 73% merino wool – 27% staple Cordura.
And that’s just the beginning.
Around this core, a continuous Cordura filament is wrapped like a protective shell.
The result is a yarn that remains flexible yet incredibly tough, developed in Germany with our partner Südwolle Group.
Final composition: 52% extra-fine merino wool — 19% staple Cordura — 29% continuous filament Cordura.

I’m not the pullover or half-zip type, as my own thermal regulation necessitates me to remove them and put them back on.
