The best of merino wool
An extra-fine 17-micron wool, carefully selected for its exceptional softness and unmatched natural properties.
And because transparency matters just as much, our wool is guaranteed mulesing-free and certified Responsible Wool Standard.
Next-generation Cordura
To ensure exceptional durability, we used a premium polyamide: Cordura. This fabric is a well-known textile innovation, recognized for its resistance to abrasion and tearing.
On this T-shirt, we use two types of Cordura:
- A staple fiber (like merino), which can be spun together with wool
- A continuous filament fiber, used to wrap and protect the structure as a whole
A twisted core
It all starts with a tight twist of merino wool and a discontinuous Cordura fiber.
A compact, homogeneous blend that forms a semi-finished yarn far stronger than 100% wool.
This interwoven core is 73% merino wool and 27% Cordura. Already tough. But we go even further.
An ultra-durable outer shell
Around this semi-finished yarn, our spinner Südwolle wraps continuous Cordura filaments using a complex process.
This is what gives the yarn its extreme strength, thanks to its tough outer sheath.
Final composition:
52% extra-fine merino wool – 19% discontinuous Cordura – 29% continuous Cordura filament

"Mon premier avis 'negatif' sur un produit Seagale. . . La gamme Performance en merinos/cordura reste selon moi incontournable. Pour le voyage régulier (et one bag travel) cela reste la meilleur gamme de produit disponible en Europe. Hélas, en XS, chaque haut 'Performance' (ce t-shirt manche longue, le Henley manche longue ainsi que le Jersey) la taille des manches est bien trop sérrée. À 9cm au lieu de 14cm comme annoncé sur le site, ces produits (en taille XS tout du moins) sont déféctueux. Dommage. . . Si Seagale corrige ce point, j acheterai volontier plusieurs versions et couleurs, donc j 'espère que le nouveau lot sera conforme aux dimensions du site."

"Ces t shirts manches longues sont parfait en hiver. Je les mets en 1ere couche sous les chemises et quand je fais de la randonnée ou du ski. Très agréable et doux, très léger, fin parfait à glisser sous la chemise. Je suis juste pas très fan de la couleur, une sorte de vert chiné noir alors que les couleurs gris clair et bleu canard d’avant étaient très belles. J’en avais plusieurs qui dataient de 2021 et je les ai jeté récemment, l’elasthanne ayant complètement lâché. On verra combien de temps il va tenir. J’ai l’impression que les manches sont un peu plus renforcées."

Je trouve le cou trop ouvert, m’empêchant de vouloir le porter au bureau, ce qu’aurait été sympathique. Cou cheminée ou plus serré pour la V2?"
