Next-generation Cordura

Cordura is a premium polyamide known for its exceptional resistance to tearing and abrasion.

In this T-shirt, we use two Cordura innovations:
- A staple fiber (like merino) that can be blended directly with the wool
- A continuous filament that acts as a protective shield for the entire structure

An intertwined core

To create the yarn at the core of this T-shirt, we start by blending merino wool with Cordura’s latest ultra-fine staple fiber.

This mix 73% merino wool and 27% Cordura is tightly twisted, forming a semi-finished strand that’s already far stronger than 100% wool.

But that’s not all.

An ultra-tough outer shell

Südwolle Group, our high-tech yarn partner, has developed a complex process that wraps continuous Cordura filaments around our semi-finished core (itself a blend of merino and Cordura).

This “secret sauce” is what makes the yarn exceptionally tough, as the continuous filament provides outstanding strength.

Here’s the final composition:
52% 17-micron extra-fine merino wool
19% staple Cordura
29% continuous filament Cordura
