Why this pant ?
It all started when the cold was biting at our legs while wearing the Performance Chinos.
That's when the idea took shape: design a versatile technical pant for the cooler months.
And for Seagale, the obvious move was to line the chino with merino wool on the inside.
A unique double-faced fabric
This weave was developed specifically by Seagale in partnership with IBQ, a Spanish specialist in innovative technical fabrics : you won't find it anywhere else.
It's a double-faced weave :
Exterior in Econyl (recycled Nylon) + Lycra twill weave,
Interior in 100% extra-fine merino wool.

Recycled nylon exterior
Econyl is a nylon made from plastic waste and used textiles.
Its production helps reduce waste by recycling materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.
It helps cut greenhouse gas emissions while avoiding the consumption of new fossil resources.
High-performance merino wool
This fabric stands out with its extra-fine merino wool interior:

We use 19-micron mulesing-free certified wool for this weave.
The ultimate comfort
The stretch in this fabric isn't the standard stretch you'd find in any regular pant.
It's a bi-stretch, meaning it stretches both lengthwise AND widthwise.
This pant is incredibly comfortable, giving you a feeling of total freedom throughout the day.
Advanced water-repellent protection
Our fabric features a C0-class DWR finish, delivering effective water resistance without the use of harmful chemicals.
This technology makes water bead right off the surface of the pants, giving you light, lasting protection against rain while staying eco-friendly.
Thermally perfect
The merino wool inner face makes all the difference: it perfectly regulates your body temperature to keep you warm in winter without ever overheating.
