We have chosen an extra-fine 17 micron wool, for exceptional softness and high-end natural properties.
Our wool is certified mulesing-free and labeled Responsible Wool Standard, for performance that respects living things.
Latest generation Cordura
Cordura is an ultra-strong technical polyamide, renowned for its exceptional durability. It strengthens the T-shirt against friction, snags, and wear.
In this model we use two types of innovative Cordura fibers:
- A staple fiber (like merino), blended with wool for a soft, strong yarn
- A continuous fiber, wrapped around the core of this thread - to give it a real armor
A twisted heart
It all starts with a tight twist between merino wool and staple Cordura fiber.
The result? A semi-finished strand of 73% merino wool and 27% Cordura: strong, consistent, ready to face all stages.
And it's just getting started.
An indestructible outer sheath
This semi-finished strand is then wrapped in a continuous filament of Cordura, to form an ultra-resistant protective sheath.
A soft yet extremely strong yarn, designed with our German spinner Südwolle using a proprietary process.
Final composition: 52% extrafine merino wool — 19% discontinuous Cordura — 29% continuous filament Cordura
