Its rapid growth, with no need for irrigation, fertilizers or pesticides, makes it a real asset for biodiversity.
What's more, hemp is a clean fiber, absorbing four times more CO2 than its counterparts, making it the most ecological choice among natural materials.
Eco-friendly Tencel
Our Tencel comes from eucalyptus wood grown in South Africa's pristine forests, using only natural rain irrigation.
Eucalyptus plantations offer higher yields than cotton, minimizing land use.
Its closed-circuit manufacturing process is environmentally friendly, with almost total recovery of used solvents and reuse of water for subsequent cycles.
Tencel thus uses 95% less water than cotton, helping to reduce our carbon footprint.
